Game Preview

Battling each other for the first time since late November, the Kalamazoo Wings and Trenton Devils will face-off for fifth and final time in the regular season. So far, Kalamazoo is 3-1-0-0 against Trenton and 2-0-0-0 at the Sun National Bank Center.

Raising their overall unbeaten streak to 11 games (9-0-1-1) and their road unbeaten streak to seven games (5-0-1-1), the K-Wings have climbed to within a single point of the Cincinnati Cyclones for first place in the North Division.

Before hitting the road for their next four games, the Devils will close out a three-game home stand. Earning victories in their first two games at home, Trenton is currently tied with Gwinnett for ninth place in the American Conference, one point behind Reading for the final playoff spot in the conference.

Lloyd Nears Milestone

Forward Darryl Lloyd is closing in a on a personal milestone. Lloyd needs one more point to reach 200 in his career.

 

Ftorek Nears 200

With a goal last night, forward Sam Ftorek is closing in a milestone. The K-Wings captain, who will be playing in his 699th career game, is one goal shy of 200 in his career.

Rolling Along

Forward Patrick Asselin and defenseman Ryan McGinnis each enter this evening on five-game point streaks. Asselin, who is one point shy of 100 in his career, has racked up nine points (1 goal, 8 assists) during his current streak, while McGinnis has earned six assists in his last five games with Kalamazoo.  

Earning Points

The K-Wings enter the game on a season-high 11-game (9-0-1-1) unbeaten streak. Besides the overall streak, Kalamazoo is also unbeaten in regulation on the road in their last seven games (5-0-1-1), which ties a season-high set from 10/15/09-11/08/09.
