Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce the organization has released Nick Jones, Matt Krug, Steve McClellen and Zack Shepley.
Kalamazoo’s current training camp roster now consist of 27 players, with one of the players, Brian Mcguirk still participating in the training camp of the American Hockey League’s Providence Bruins.
The K-Wings training camp will now head to Anchorage, Alaska, where they will begin preparation to battle last season’s Kelly Cup runners-up, the Alaska Aces, in two preseason games this Wednesday and Thursday.
Single-game tickets for any of the K-Wings 36 regular season home games are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office.
Kalamazoo starts its 36-game regular season home schedule on Saturday, October 24th against Reading at 7:30 p.m. Customary for opening night, all fans will receive a FREE magnetic schedule courtesy of Meijer. Also, fans will receive a FREE team poster courtesy of Fed-Ex Office and Men’s Wearhouse and Tux.
Tickets for all K-Wings home games range in price from $9.90-$14.90 for adults and only $6.90 for kids ages 12 and under. Fans can purchase individual game tickets at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office or at any Ticketmaster outlet. The price for all K-Wings premium night games (all colored ice and New Year’s Eve game) will be increased by $1.
All tickets that are purchased for any K-Wings game on game-day will be increased by $1 per ticket.
