Game Preview

For the first-time since the 1985-86 season, the Kalamazoo Wings will battle a team from the city of Toledo, as the K-Wings host the Walleye in the first half of a home and home series. Tonight is also the 6th Annual Orange Ice Game. Kalamazoo is 1-4-0-0 on the pumpkin colored ice.

Defeating the Wheeling Nailers 6-5 in a shootout last night, Kalamazoo extended their winning streak to six games and remains just one of three undefeated teams (Elmira Jackals and Idaho Steelheads) in the ECHL.

Idle last night, Toledo remains in second place in the North Division, one point ahead of Cincinnati and five points behind the K-Wings. This evening is just the second road test for the Walleye, who lost their first road game in a shootout last Thursday 4-3 against Reading.
