Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce forward Darryl Bootland has been loaned to the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.
Bootland is a former 8th round selection (252nd overall) in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft of the Colorado Avalanche, Bootland has played 32 games in the NHL with the Detroit Red Wings and New York Islanders.
In seven games, Bootland is tied for fourth on the K-Wings in scoring with 8 points (3 goals, 5 assists).
The K-Wings will return to Wings Stadium Friday, November 13th with a 7:30 p.m. encounter versus the Cincinnati Cyclones. The game on November 13th will also be the K-Wings first Frugal Fan Friday, which features $1 beer and $1 hot dogs.
