Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce forward Mitch Versteeg has been reassigned to the K-Wings from the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League.
Versteeg, who missed eight K-Wings contests because of playing in Worcester, has earned 8 points (1 goal, 7 assists) in 25 games for Kalamazoo.
While in Worcester, Versteeg played in three games with the Sharks.
Versteeg will be in the lineup tonight, as Kalamazoo commences a four-game road swing with a 7:30 p.m. encounter against the Cincinnati Cyclones.
The K-Wings will return to Wings Stadium on Friday, January 22nd with a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus the Cincinnati Cyclones on Culver’s Night. The contest on January 22nd will also be a Frugal Fan Friday, which features $1 beer and $1 hot dogs.
