Game Preview

Tonight is the first-ever meeting between the Kalamazoo Wings and the South Carolina Stingrays. The encounter is also the first of two straight between the teams and their only games against one another in the regular season.

Kalamazoo started a four-game road swing on a sour note, losing to the Cincinnati Cyclones 3-1 on Wednesday. The loss drops the K-Wings into second place in the North Division, one point behind the Cyclones.

Despite being winless in their last two games (0-1-1-0), the defending Kelly Cup champions have picked up right where they left off a season ago. South Carolina, not only leads the South Division, they own the best record (25-9-2-4) in both the American Conference and the entire ECHL.
