Kalamazoo Loanes Defenseman Ryan McGinnis to the Norfolk Admirals

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce defenseman Ryan McGinnis has been loaned to the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.

McGinnis has earned 28 points (5 goals, 23 assists) and has a plus/minus ranking of +9 in 42 games with Kalamazoo. The native of Flint, Michigan is the only member of the K-Wings to see action in every game for Kalamazoo this season.

Heading to the AHL for the first time this season, McGinnis does have AHL experience, has be played 27 games last season for the Albany River Rats.

McGinnis becomes the 21st call-up from the K-Wings this season to play in the AHL.

The K-Wings will conclude their three-game home stand Friday, February 5th with a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus the Cincinnati Cyclones on Frugal Fan Friday, which features $1 beers and $1 hot dogs.
