Game Preview

School children from all around southwest Michigan will serve as a wake up call for the Kalamazoo Wings and Gwinnett Gladiators, as the teams prepare for Education Day, presented by Borgess Health and ECCU.  On the season, the K-Wings are 2-0-1-0 versus the Gladiators.

Looking to extend their nine-game home unbeaten streak (8-0-0-1), the K-Wings will return to Wings Stadium to commence a four-game home stand.  With 61 points, the K-Wings are in second place in the North Division.

Starting a six-game road trip, Gwinnett enters Wings Stadium looking to snap a two-game losing streak. Currently in fourth place in the South Division with 55 points, the Gladiators are three points behind the Wheeling Nailers for the final playoff spot in the ECHL.

Nearing the Century Mark

The K-Wings are no strangers to morning starts. All-time, Kalamazoo who lost a road morning game earlier this season to Toledo, are 6-5-1-1 in morning games and 4-5-0-1 at home.

Starting a four-game home stand on Wednesday, Kalamazoo is looking to extend a nine-game (8-0-0-1) unbeaten streak in regulation at Wings Stadium. The nine-game home unbeaten streak is a season-high for Kalamazoo.
