Defenseman Ryan McGinnis Returns from the Norfolk Admirals

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce defenseman Ryan McGinnis has been returned to the K-Wings from the Norfolk Admirals.  

McGinnis, who has missed the past 17 K-Wings contests, still ranks first amongst Kalamazoo defensemen in scoring with 28 points (5 goals, 23 assists) and is plus-nine in 42 games.      

In his recent loan to Norfolk, McGinnis earned three assists and was plus-four in 17 games with the Admirals.    

Kalamazoo will continue their season-high seven-game road swing this Friday, March 12th with a 7:35 p.m. face-off at the First Arena against the Elmira Jackals.  

The K-Wings will return to Wings Stadium on Wednesday, March 17th with a 7 p.m. encounter versus the Wheeling Nailers during the 29th Annual “World Famous” St. Patrick’s Day Green Ice Game, presented by Fifth-Third Bank and WWMT.
